Adult patients with or without insurance can call Neighborhood Medical Center their home for healthcare. We provide check-ups, preventative care, diagnosis, treatment, medication therapy, and follow-up care.

Mental Health

Healthy mind and healthy body go hand in hand. At your home for healthcare, we offer diagnosis, treatment, counseling, psychiatric evaluation, and medication management to help you feel your best.

Chronic Disease Care

NMC offers ongoing care for patients with diabetes, cholesterol and lipid problems, hypertension, and HIV/AIDS. Good medical management of chronic diseases helps prevent additional complications.

Dental Care

Dental care is as important as healthcare for the rest of your body. These services are for children and adults at select locations, and can be scheduled the same way as you would make a doctor’s appointment.

What’s on the Inside?

Tech Care Radiology provides patients with low-cost, effective X-Ray, EKG, ultrasound, and mammography services.

 

 

Children & Teens

Neighborhood Medical Center provides complete care for infants, children and teens- physical check-ups, vaccinations, TB screening, treatment for childhood illnesses, hearing and vision screening, health education, disease prevention and confidential teen services.

Specialty Care

We provide specialty services including Dermatology, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Optometry, Orthopedics, Psychiatry and Pediatrics.

 

Case Management

As your healthcare home, we care about your whole health. We offer referrals for specialty care for eligible patients to We Care Network, assistance applying for Medicaid and food stamps, and connections to other agencies for additional services.

Women’s Care

Routine Women’s Care services include: general Obstetrics/Gynecology and pregnancy testing, annual exams, screening and treatment for sexually transmitted infections, colposcopy, contraception services, breast cancer screening and mammograms.

Smoking Cessation Success

NMC provides a smoking cessation program, Quit Smoking Now, through a partnership with FSU’s College of Medicine. Quit Smoking Now is a 6-week program that meets for 1 hour weekly and provides support for the effort to quit smoking through group or individual counseling, as well as pharmacotherapy items such as the Nicoderm patch, lozenges or gum.  

Uninsured/Under-Insured Patients

At your home for healthcare, you will not be turned away based on your ability to pay. We offer general services to uninsured and underinsured adults including HIV/STD testing, TB Screenings, On-site lab services, specimen collection, On-site pharmacy with prescription medication for eligible patients, and vision screening.

The Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program provides a comprehensive system of care that includes primary medical care and essential support services for people living with HIV who are uninsured or underinsured.
