Karen Strange, the Library Special Services Coordinator for Literacy LeRoy Collins Leon County Public Library was this month’s guest for Healthy Happy Hour.
Karen Strange works as the Library Special Services Coordinator for Literacy at the LeRoy Collins Leon County Public Library. In her 15 years of working at the library, Karen has trained hundreds of volunteers to help learners in our community prepare for academic and workplace tests, improve their English language skills, and prepare for the U.S. citizenship exam. She has a BA in German from FSU and a MA in Linguistics from the Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg. She has over 25 years of experience as an instructor. Karen spends her spare time playing games and enjoying the Florida outdoors – sometimes underwater.
