Mind Your Body & Soul: The Healthy Podcast is hosted by Joseph Ward, Mathias Sweet, and Mrs. Alana Steaple. Mind Your Body & Soul is an educational podcast that focuses on all thing’s health related, to help our listeners learn more about various health topics and information they may not have had access to. We seek to inform, empower, uplift and, mobilize our listeners to become the healthiest versions of themselves.
In this episode, Joseph Ward and Mathias Sweet interview pharmacist Dr. Danyelle Williams , PharmD, CPh, AAHIVP. Dr. Danyelle Williams is the Pharmaceutical Program Manager with the Florida Department of Health Bureau of Public Health Pharmacy. In this capacity, she manages the statewide pharmaceutical programs and outreach clinical programs. In 2011, Dr. Williams graduated from Florida State University with a B.S. degree in Exercise Science. In 2015, she received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Florida A&M University’s College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. In 2017, she completed a 2 year Pharmacy Practice Fellowship with Florida A&M University specializing in HIV Management. Dr. Williams is currently completing coursework for a Master of Public Health degree from the FAMU College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Institute of Public Health. Dr. Williams serves as a member of the Florida Department of Health HIV/AIDS Section Medication Formulary workgroup and is certified with the American Academy of HIV Medicine as a HIV Pharmacist.
Dr. Williams is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated and enjoys being active in her community by serving as the Volunteer Coordinator for the Leon County/Havana Relay for Life, President of the Capital City chapter of the National Diamondback Pharmacy Alumni Council, Director of her church’s youth dance ministry, precepting pharmacy students, participating in health fairs, and advocating for the prevention of HIV/AIDS.
Joseph Ward is the Outreach Specialist/Health Educator for the Ryan White Program with Neighborhood Medical Center.
Mathias Sweet is the Ryan White Program Director for Neighborhood Medical Center.
